Built for the field
Four core tools, working together. From the moment you set up to the moment you pack down.
01 — AI Vision
Know your groups, instantly.
Photograph your target up close and Pellet's AI measures your group in millimetres — no tape measure, no guesswork.
02 — Auto Capture
Conditions captured. Every session.
Temperature, wind, pressure, humidity and altitude — all logged automatically the moment you start a session.
03 — Scan & Track
Know exactly what's in your rifle.
Scan your tin lid and Pellet's AI identifies brand, weight, calibre and head size — building your personal pellet library.
04 — Analytics
Turn raw data into real decisions.
Group trends, pellet comparisons and performance by location — see exactly what conditions produce your best shooting.
Simple by design
Designed for the field — not the desk. Pellet works the way you shoot.
Tap Start Session at the firing point. Select your rifle and pellets, note fill pressure. GPS locks your position. Weather is fetched automatically. You're ready to shoot.
Walk to the target and open Pellet's camera. GPS captures the distance automatically. Photograph the target and Pellet's AI finds your shots and measures your group in seconds — you confirm with a tap.
See group size trends across sessions. Compare pellets side by side. Understand which conditions produced your tightest groups — and apply it next time out.
The app
Built for field shooters. Clean, fast, and distraction-free.
Why Pellet
Paper, spreadsheets and single-purpose apps each capture one slice. Pellet brings group size, conditions, distance and pellet data together — automatically.

Questions
The problems Pellet is built to solve for air rifle and airgun shooters.
Photograph your target from under a metre away and Pellet's AI finds each pellet hole and measures the group spread in millimetres — no tape measure or scoring gauge needed. It uses the known pellet hole diameter as a scale reference, then reports the group size and a performance rating you confirm with a tap.
Every barrel prefers a different pellet, so the only reliable way is to shoot several pellets and compare the group sizes. Pellet measures each group automatically and ranks your pellets by average group size, so you can see which weight, head size and brand your rifle shoots tightest — backed by data, not guesswork.
Yes. Wind, temperature, air pressure and humidity all change where a light pellet lands, especially at longer range. Pellet logs all of these automatically at the start of every session and calculates the wind angle relative to your shot, so you can see exactly which conditions produce your best and worst groups.
As a rough guide at 50 yards: under 15 mm is excellent, 15–25 mm is very good, 25–40 mm is good, 40–50 mm is competent and 60 mm or more suggests there's room to improve. Pellet rates every group against these benchmarks automatically so you always know where you stand.
Pellets vary slightly from batch to batch, and a new lot can shoot differently even with the same product. Pellet reads the lot number from a photo of the tin base and tracks performance by batch, so you can spot when a new tin changes your grouping and stock up on a lot that shoots well.
